When my wife, Anita, and I were expecting our first child we went to Lamaze classes. They instructed us to find a focal point for use in coping with the pangs of childbirth. Something to focus on as she gave birth. We chose a brilliantly colored abalone shell for our focal point.
The meditation images that I am sharing in this room are meant to serve as focal points for your own mediation process. Nothing magical or super-powered. Simply images of Biblical scenes (some may seem familiar, some not) that might open a door to a deeper walk.
If desired, you can enhance your meditations with music or nature sounds. My favorite is the sound of the ocean surf, rolling in and then retreating. Ebb and flow. Washing away tension and refreshing my soul. The content of the meditation piece, and the accompaniment of nature and the Spirit.
